Put science to
work for you

Combined with the expertise of our technical advisors and decades of research, trials, and innovation, ICL Lab Services is your go-to source for the information you need to grow your plants—and your business.

How it works

Simply choose the type of assessment you would like from the list below (all assessments are $35.00 each). Fill out and submit the Sample Kit Request Form. When you receive your sample kit in the mail, follow the enclosed instructions to gather your sample and return it using the pre-addressed mailing label. We’ll run the tests, compile a thorough analysis, and email the results to you. A copy will also be sent to your regional ICL Territory Manager who can walk you through the findings and answer any questions you might have. They can also make recommendations on products and application methods to improve the overall health and quality of your plants.

Irrigation Water Assessment

  • helps to identify the best-controlled release or water-soluble program based on your water chemistry.
  • determines how irrigation water will impact root zone pH
  • identifies nutrient sources in your water and key gaps that need to be supplemented with fertilizers
  • calls out harmful salts and metals in that can inhibit crop quality
  • provides a comprehensive screening of the key elements that impact crop nutrition including pH, soluble salts, alkalinity, total nitrogen, nitrate–N, ammoniacal–N, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum, zinc, sodium, chloride, fluoride, and aluminum
